The download is a tar.gz file with 3 different backgrounds in it. I'd love to hear what other RedHat users think. Leave me some comments Last changelog:
0.1 - First replease. Hacked together really quickly.
0.2 - Took out the quote. Did some effects on the Red Hat to make it stand out more. Learned how to use GIMP layer masks
0.3 - Now distributed as tar/gz file with 3 different backgrounds. One has horizontal lines with textured (clouds) background, One horiz. lines WITHOUT clouds background. One is pretty much the same a previous releases.
There will be a new one without the quote coming after the holidays. Look for possible version of this for other Linux distributions (probably starting with Debian, since I have that). If anyone has really good transparent logo for other distros/*BSDs then I'll be happy to put some of those out as well. Just email them to me - (cyoung@linuxnetworker.com)

I see you have a quicktime player icon on the desktop. Does quicktime work under Linux???
of you, that you avoided the KDE-sign, since I use it with Gnome.
