i agree it belongs to gnome site, but its not like its really that bad.
Actually I like everything about the wallpaper except the girl. Take her out and plop the KDE gear logo in the circle graphic and we have a winnaa!
she's hot as hell. shut up.
Nah..not my kinda girl. Check out the new Jaime Pressly splash screen. Now there's a women!
ok. you win. but i still think she's hot.
What has a Gnome wallpaper to do with KDE-look? it's not something strictly kde-related, for example splash screens, which content may be whatever you want since they applies only to KDE, it is a simply background image.
Indeed. It's a good wall, but should be removed, it belongs at art.gnome.org. Btw, anyone noticed how the "wall-spammage" has increased alot lately? Or is it just me? I'm starting to want an "All but wallpaper"-section. :P
This site offers also GTK-Themes, so I thought it would be no problem to post it here. Why shouldn't a KDE user like a wallpaper with a (tiny) gnome logo on it?
But I do like it. All I'm saying is I'd prefer seeing more strictly KDE-content here. If everyone is going to be posting everything, everywhere.... it gets real messy. All I'm saying. I'm just another user though, you shouldn't bother with my opinion. :)
So you took the picture on you own and did not use others work? If not, please change the license.
No, I didn't take the picture myself, to what should I change the license?
First you have to check, if the original author allows you to redistribute it and change it without given credits to him. If not, you violate his copyright and you have checked the box that you are responsible for not violating copyrights, when submitting it.
I personally think it's tasteful adult content nice work...
This is considered "adult content" and should be removed. I wouldn't want children to see Linux portrayed thusly.
oh come on .. When I go to the beach I see far more 'worse adult stuff' then this and there are children to. It's good to be protective, but there's also something called being over-protective. I have a 16 year old son btw.
And when I go to the beach, I don't. Congratulations for living somewhere with different morals. Ooh, you're so progressive. ;) So does this paper give a good impression of Linux? Dunno. I'll bet if the Venus de Milo was there instead some people would say it gave a better impression :D Makes perfect sense..
But I doubt your children regularly see such sights in schools, grocery stores or other day-to-day locations.
It's easy to see more nudity than this in commercials, be it posters on the street or prime time tv adverts, here in Portugal. I'd have no problem showing this to my grandmother or my 4 years old cousin. That said, it's not a great wallpaper and it's unrelated to KDE, so I voted bad.
Actually, I work as a substitue teacher in south jersey public schools and I see things that aren't far from this as well as more 'adult' things; you would be shocked to see what some girls are willing to do in order to cheat on a test or get out of a class, it's amazing.
Adult? Come on! I'm more concerned with the fact that it's actually gnome and not kde art.
Maybe I'm wrong But shouldn't this go to art.gnome.org or themedepot.org This is KDE-look after all..
