Debian needs a new logo.
Sure. The swirl was cool and funny at the time. But many years have passed. Surely it's time for a new logo.
True.. There is no dearth of artwork for other distros. The "swirl" does limit what could be done with it. Its definitely a great idea to have a new logo.

well, i was wondering how to change the old good debian swirl, And i just make it diferent, some people like it. Some not xD

I'm a Debian user and (almost) developer... I like this a lot. Maybe you could post the source file, or a super-high-res version of it?
