Description: Just messin around with GIMP. I really tried to give it a scense of depth and I think that really shines through in the high def version (The .png on deviantart).
I'd have to say it is very nice. You definitely gave it depth in the hi-res, and the patterning is almost fractial-esque. The only turn-off is the speckling that's on the ends of the needles. Any way to get rid of that, or is that what you intended? Nice job.
