Interesting. Just out of curiosity, why not The Gimp or something else that actually runs on Gnome without emulation?
I tested Gimp but I don't like how it works with 1px lines, colors seem not real. I like very much photoshop, unfortunately there's no linux version. Anyone knows if there's a similar program for linux? Sorry for my English.
Your english is pretty good, actually. Well, personally I really like The Gimp, and also you have to keep in mind that if there were any bugs half a year ago, they are likely solved by now. Open Source development is very fast, so depending on how long ago you tried The Gimp, things may have been fixed, if they are meant to be fixed. Also, if you are looking for a photo-shop type alternative that isn't free, then check out Pixel. I hear that it's pretty good. Here is the main site's screenshots page: http://www.kanzelsberger.com/pixel/?page_id=5 And here is a review of Pixel, on Linux.com: http://applications.linux.com/article.pl?sid=05/12/06/1828230&tid=39 Hope that you can further your Linux migration. Pixel costs about 45 dollars, I think. Funny how Photoshop costs around 500$...
Thanks for the advice about Pixel, I'll test it(if there's a trial version). Anyway i tried to use gimp a month ago, so I don't think it changed but I heard that maybe Adobe is working on a Linux version of Photoshop and I hope so, at least until I got a Mac.
Adobe won't. They think of Linux as a Hax0rz'z system. Although I would like them to, they possibly won't.
I like it but would prefer it with just the word "gnome".
I can add a version without "perfection exists" if you want
