Hacienda la Galera, Queretaro, Mexico

A few decades ago in Mexico, the haciendas were very big and important (very big ranchs).

President Lazaro Cardenas, declared that owning very big parts of land was ilegal.. and splitted Haciendas and give the land to the people that used to work in the hacienda and created the "Ejidos" (a very populist political decision).

Today, only the great constructions of the Haciendas remain.. this is a picture from Hacienda la galera in Queretaro state.

Is really a great place to make a party..
