that text is actually _very_ easy to gimpify away, just copy big square from upside of the text and paste over the text.
since it's linear, it fits it seamleslly
i like this design a lot, but perhaps you could put out a version without the text? the text isnt that interesting to me, and since you have that light gradient, it would be hard to gimp it out manually.
