The splash and a few sounds sampled from the soviet anthem can be downloaded from: http://mitulescu.no-ip.com/soviet.tar.gz The splash theme is "blue-bend" with the modified graphics(no time to research into how to make a ksplash theme).

I can not get the file to be under 500 kb(without losing quality)at 1024x768 which is the maximum the site will allow to upload. On the plus side it scales very well as I run it on a screen with the resolution of 1280x1024
I also made (adapted some other people's background) to make a Lenin splash screen and sampled the soviet national anthem to use at kde startup and close. I tell you, it really cracks me up whith the splash screen, the anthem and at the end of it the guy appears with his fist hahah. I need to get out more.
