I like it but having it on my desktop I think i would move the lettering down a bit and make it smaller.
Also, the tagline. It's coming. Can you hear it? well it's already here. been here since April 8 2005. :)
Other than that, i like it.

I really really like it! Even though I don't use/know what Ubuntu is ;-). Keep it up! Just out of curiosity, where did you get the picture from?
