Description: This is the snap I took during my travel to Kyoto and Nara in Japan and this temple is called KinKaku-Ji (Golden Temple).
The impression I have about Kyoto is: it is more highlighted than it actually deserves. Temples have been fully commercialized and the tourist department have demonstrated their complete lack of common sense while building new (most of them unnecessary) structures around these....concrete structures right in front of 1000 year old wooden temples..phew!! It was disastrous to see all these!
Anyway, I think images from this temple have already been posted here as wallpapers....but never mind, this is mine :-)
So what you're saying is "yes, I know the exact same shot has already been posted, but I don't care how much kde-look is spammed as long as I get my picture on here".
You are under serious misunderstanding. Picture of this temple (another one, not this picture) has been posted here before (if my memories are still with me) but I (and possibly many others) like this shot better than the previous one and that is exactly the motivation behind posting it here on kde-look.
