may the source be with you v2.2
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Description:
--------------------------------------------
I_M_P_O_R_T_A_N_T:
I was unable to upload the PNG version. So I've uploaded a JPEG. If you wish the best quality, download this wallpaper from the homepage link above (It's 1.3 MB - Hey, KDE-Look.org maintainers! I've received the error "Please fill in all required fields". Is the file too big for you?). I really urge you to get the png. The JPEG is even in lowest compression level messed up.
--------------------------------------------
d_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n::
Text "may the source be with you" over some blurred layers of kernel sources.
This wallpaper is a complete new build based on the already uploaded 1024x768 wallpaper (http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=443), which will no longer be maintained, since it should be no problem for you to crop this picture with The Gimp to any lower resolution you like. However I would like to know, which version you like more.
f_i_r_s_t___s_c_r_e_e_n_s_h_o_t::
The first screenshot is a even lower quality version, but should be enough for a quick preview.
s_e_c_o_n_d___s_c_r_e_e_n_s_h_o_t::
This shows the wallpaper on my desktop in combination with the Khaos color scheme for KDE (http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=432).
t_h_i_r_d___s_c_r_e_e_n_s_h_o_t::
See this screenshot for the available colors. I don't want to spam KDE-Look.org with several wallpapers that just have other colors. So please download the desired wallpapers from the URLs below (colors from the screenshot from left to right):
Blue:
(Same as the homepage link above)

wallpaper for quite some time on my desktop ... now its nice to have variations ... -- thanx
Where did you find your theme. Is that a BlackBox type theme? You should upload it to the site!
The theme is slightly modified e-chaos for enlightenment but it is indeed a port of a blackbox theme. You can get it from themes.org. Since there is a legacy blackbox theme for KDE you should be able to use the original chaos blackbox theme with KDE.
... first version. The light-blue color line in the center destroys my eyes. The back is nicer now, since it's a bit more sharp, but I preffer the old font style. (just my humble opinion :)
for your constructive comment. Are there more people who dislike the blue bar? What about the font? Do you like to have a bigger one like in the first version? Yaba
the font is better - but please release a version with a dark-blue bar
I prefer the first version as well, i especially liked the font with that "screen-like" effect. It was better (but it fits nice to my resolution, so I needn't complain, just use it). However, great idea and phantastic pice of work! I usually don't use a WP, but this is really nice, even better as the KDE 2.2 blue one... Franz alias Schnoopy
and here it is: Version 2.1.1 with darker bar and interlaced text. I'm thinking about releasing the same background with different colors for different desktops. What do you think?
... to you. You're the artist. Looks good idea to me.
.... this new version!!!
but I have updated it once again (2.1.2). Now we have both texts. What do you think?
... what I'm going to find it has changed tomorrow morning. Renderized 3d code on the background? I'll dream about coding today. :) Looks nice.
First of all, the new version is REALLY nice again! The decent text with the bar is even nicer as in your first work! Second - about the colors: Just try, I know that people prefer different colors on their desktop! Keep your hands on it as long as you have fun with it - its great! Franz alias Schnoopy
