Inspired by all those nice looking themes I've seen here.
Icons by mattahan. Wallpaper and other graphics by me. XML adopted from Thomas Lund.
The theme says Gentoo and it comes with that line. You can change that. Look into the xml file; I have commented the lines that you can change. For instance you can have it say "Suse Linux" or just "Gnome" and it will look the same. Other things are also customizable such as the clock and so on.

resized the 1280 wall so it looks like the 1600 wall sans the ugly chop of the ends

What is the name of the iconset used in this GDM theme?
garGantuan
However the clock does not update. I am using Ubuntu 5.10 which has Gnome 2.12.1. Bummer really. I tried to edit the XML file to fix the clock but could not make it work. I kept getting XML parser errors. I thought that the item line came before the text. All the other XML files had a item=clock and such. Any ideas how to get the clock to update properly in Gnome 2.12.1.
thats one wierd error. lemme look into it
I switched my icon sets because of this GDM. great stuff.
great theme ;)
thank you :)
Thats a really nice login-screen! Glad that you could use my XML.
Oh, yes. Thank you. It was a lot of help when I was trying to figure out what does what.
this has got to be the best looking gdm theme i've seen. sux i stopped using gdm a long while ago :)

nice, i have that wall :)
I can understand that. It is minimal, light, simple... Simplicity is elegant and there is the added advantage that xdm has a smaller footprint.
I agree, It's the best GDM theme I've ever seen too. Using it now :) Thanks!
