Description:
emerald: Nuala Blue by DG09 (inside zip)
icon-theme: MacUltimate
Icon in Gloobus-Preview: Cylon Folder
code-base was showtime-gnome-theme
Also Suitable without globalmenu - Try it
The similarity with Macintosh wasn't my intention. I wanted to create a candy like theme and then I made the toolbar and menubar to fit best. The result is a mac-like-theme. Hope you like it. ;-) Last changelog:

Man, this theme is amaze! It was just what i looking for! And i don't care if it looks like mac (i think most because you are using the OSX icon theme, so...) Everyone is bothering because isn't a black theme... i like a clear theme, so i liked! Just one tip: let the location bar more like elementary-mod will be great, in my opinion! Thanks a lot for the work! I appreciate that!
Thanks for your suggestion, but instead of the elementary-mod location bar, I thought it would look much better, if the buttons are as less visible as possible. I hope you like that too. If not I am willing to use whatever location bar you like, as I don't care very much for that.
Thanks! But i have one more: this theme don't work well on Ubuntu (least by me) and man, what gimp is this one! it's amazing!
Which ubuntu, I have lucid 10.04 and I haven't used any different engine than the default installed. However, It requires Murrine-Git Gtk-engine. There is no metacity-Theme, but an emerald -Theme, so install emerald. Icons are called Cylon - but I changed the Theme, to make the panel narrow. The theme can be selected in the gnome-settings-dialogue. If it still does not work, you have to search for the reason - On my machine everything works fine, so its just about you, why it does not work.
Ok, i put the new ubuntu 10.04 and try, works good (but not the emerald... didn't work for some reason that i dont know). And please, what gimp ate this one in the screenshot?
It's Gimp 2.7 I hope. The emerald theme is inside the download package and inside the Candy_Spring Folder. Just import it.
the preview looks great but i cant seem to install it
If you follow the download link you should get to deviantart.com, where another download link is. There you can download the zip. then you open your file-roller as root and you extract the folder Candy_Spring to /usr/share/themes/ This is the system-wide system folder. Now you are able to select the Theme with your gnome-settings-dialogue. I hope it helps. Unfortunately the gnome-settings-dialogue only accepts tar.gz's for theme installations - and then the themes aren't available for synaptic and other root-gui-programms.
No good.BAD.Bad machine butosh.
I am not as used to english to understand, what "bad butosh" should mean. If you don't like it, tell me what exactly and don't rate it down.
I forgot what butosh was but the theme is bad.Don't know what's wrong with it but it's not cool somehow. That's all I can tell you.You need a lot more hard work,Aleksy. Not cooooooooool.I don't know anything about GTK to tell you what's wrong with it but it's BAD,Aleksy.
If you can't tell whats so bad about it, why bother posting? Ofcourse the theme maker wants feedback, but feedback in the form of "I don't know why but its bad" isn't really helpfull.

The theme should look like Candy, sweet colorful, smooth and sometimes glossy. It wasn't intended to be cool in any way - it should look a little bit childish. Btw. You said I should make more hard work on it. Nevermind, I still have some improvements in mind, but I find time very hard now.
hey, can you tell me where to get the wallpaper? :)

To be honest I really like this theme. I think I'm gonna use it, although I can't get it to work atm :P
It's using murrine-git from the ubuntu repositories - I thought it is obvious and therefore not worth to mention.
Yeah sorry, I'm a bit noobish with themes and that... have been playing with Ubuntu for like 2-3 months now..
I liked it a lot, looks a bit like 'perfection' but the scrollbars are different on a good way.
It's strange that you see similarities with Perfection. I mean, I haven't used this gtkrc as the base and I haven't used any styles from there. Furthermore this theme has much more colors and a complete different progressbar. However, as long as you like it, there's no problem.
It's just my perception after having used both, it really doesn't mean anything. Keep it up.
when i see that i think of mac.
I know, that happened to me too. I have edited the widgets and then I tried to edit the menubar and Toolbar to fit best with the rest. The result was a mac-like theme, although it hasn't been my intention. Therefore I wrote: "This is not a Macintosh theme! ;-)"
