Since the official repository seems to be down, I'm uploading my own version of 0.5. Use it at your own risk.

I compiled the tar.gz and was trying to use checkinstall to make it a seperate .deb package but couldn't figure out how..
Could you write or link me to a howto?
I've used checkinstall without any trouble:
1) donwload source
2) change to uncompressed dir
3) ./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-animation
4) make
5) sudo checkinstall
Input description and that's it.

when i tried to install this deb, i got a dependency error for libatk1.0-0, even though i have it installed.

Only other place to get .51 is in the Feisty repository... which doesn't do any good for those of us who would like to upgrade now.

IMHO, it's much better to use dh-make than checkinstall and it is not harder to use.
