Description: This is a Dark and Light mixed theme based on MurrinaFancyCandy Gtk theme by Cimi, and StormCloud metacity theme by hbweb500.
The goal was to create something with a Dark vibe, yet clean, modern, and professional.
The black glossy art is hbweb500's work.
I modified the original metacity theme to remove the inner white border which gives a more integrated feeling.
The gtk theme requires the latest Murrine engine 0.4x to work properly.
Installation:
The downloaded file includes the metacity and gtk theme. Copy them to /home//.themes
*** The panel background needs to be set manually (panel.png)*** and it's included in /MurrinaStorm/gtk-2.0/ after you install the theme. (If someone knows a way to set .png files as widget textures correctly with Murrine Engine let me know as I ran into trouble).
I hope you enjoy this and let me know if you have any suggestions!
Very good theme but it doesn't work on my pc. I move the folder in /usr/share/themes
and I use the picture for the bar but the windows directories (in the bar) are white and I can't see the title. Do you know why? Thanks ;)
You need to grab the latest Murrine engine and install it. The theme needs Murrine to render correctly. Search under GTK themes for Murrine by Cimi and you'll find links.
Thanks for the feedback. You may be right. I need to think about this more. Meanwhile you can change things around with Murrina Configurator application provided by Cimi.

I'm using Murrine engine 0.53 (which to my knowledge is the most recent) and I have the same problem when applying the GTK theme.
I personally think the stripes in the scrollbar make the theme feel sort of "busy". Other than that, I like it!

It seems to me that the stripes would look better being the background of the scrollbar, but a little more subdued.
