The theme file has been edited to allow you to set an independant color for the menu bar who takes the "tooltip background" color. Please refer to screenshot 2 to see how it works.
Default metacity is based on a modified Elegant Brit theme metacity. More Metacity themes will come in futur versions.
From 1.7 Simple Murrina provide a Firefox fix for dark themes. For now it correct the text color problems. I still havent't find a solution for some buggy selection boxes. But will come soon ;o)
To apply it extract the file userContent.css in /home/(username)/.mozilla/firefox/xxxxx.default/chrome

Eclipse and Emesene aren't very easy to read. Do you have a solution to make it more readable without breaking this design?
This theme is great! It's the only dark theme i can stand having day to day. One problem, though. Could you please post a firefox fix? like a userchrom.css or something? firefox is a little of an eyesore, because of all the black-on-brown textboxes...

Hi thanks for the Emerald it's fit perfectly. For the firefox fix I'll try to find the trick. For now the only thing to do is to disable the CSS sheet of the buggy pages via (View=>Page Style).

I'm sorry I'm not advertising but I can't find another sample.They are in Chinese,and you can find that between the blue ones there are pink characters.
Ok,I'm now using your Emerald and GDM,and the theme for my GTK is Sauna-dark. And this theme looks like your theme.You should search that and have a look.

Hi flyinghigh happy to see you. I had a watch at the dark-sauna, it's true it really looks the same. Actually yesterday I was playing a little with the color palette when suddenly my beloved said she found the dark brown theme really good. So as I believe her tastes are good and I'm kinda of art stupid, I decided to set it as main theme. The theme you linked is really awesome, perhaps a little bit too chocolate for me, but I find the menus are really good.

I am just wondering why you decided to make it so dark now, never been big on overly dark themes...
Its a good thing that its got color theming support
In fact as it already comes with 3 white themes, I decided to pack another dark theme. And as you said with color theming support it doesn't really matter.
It would be nice if the scrollbars were less fat. As it is they take up a kind of ridiculous amount of space.
Other than that, though, this is very good. I especially like the metacity theme, which (finally!) looks good with themes like Dyne and Nova as well as Murrine.
. Please note that the brushed themes doesn't support transparent panel. I'll try to fix this issue in the following release.

I can't go to the link you've sent me. For the characters try to set a pure white colors for the font, hopefully it will fix the problem.
