hello man this theme really rocks! It's one of my favorite and I'm just using it in this moment with just a little variation.. I would like to see some updates, if possible.. some work on it.. Are you planning to do something or are you considering this nice project just discontinued? In my opinion, it would be a sin to stop work on Triomphe!! see you!
What kind of ideas do you have?
Great theme. Works a lot better then before. Looks even better then Elegant brit that i've been using for a long time. Keep up the good work. Tres beau travail!
Merci beaucoup !
How could I download this theme? Am I the only getting: Connection Error Unable to connect to the requested site. Details Unable to establish a connection with server 198.172.81.21 TIA
I just checked the link and it worked for me. The direct URL to the file is: http://www.deviantart.com/download/88654131/MurrinaTriomphe_Suite_by_envyouraudience.zip
Thanks for your efforts but it doesn't work neither changing browser, using wget (ERROR 502: Bad Gateway) even with different dns servers.
Finally.
What color scheme do you use? And what icons?
What do you mean by color scheme? The icons are Crashbit, available on gnome-look.
Hey, the panel is PyPanel, right? And what's that terminal? Could you provide me with both? :D Cheers, S
Here is my pypanelrc: http://pastebin.us/?show=m5312efcb The terminal is gnome-terminal. Here is my bashrc: http://pastebin.us/?show=m2ca315e3
Nice theme! Small problem for me : I cannot read the text on the navigation bar of firefox 3 release candidate. It's white with no visible caracters.
Do you have anything in your .gtkrc.mine file that might interfere with the theme? On my computer, FF 3 looks the same as other windows :-/
As I understand, Murrina is a superior theme engine as a matter of speed. ... so... even if this may not be the goal for your project, I'll look forward for a partial/complete remake of Elegant brit using this engine. By the way, your work is superb !
I agree that the Murrina Engine should be a lot faster than pixmap. I tried to make a Murrina port of Elegant Brit here: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=83462 It definitely isn't perfect, but I think it's pretty close. Let me know what you think.
Err, I read the change log, but what exactly did you change? Pixmap scrollbars? What's the difference now? Hm, are they changing colors when I use them (activate with mouse click)? Oh, and could you maybe look into firefox3? :D http://xs.to/xs.php?h=xs128&d=08246&f=firefox_bookmarks713.jpg As you see the bookmarks are kind of badly visible - as well as that new Awesome bar they use (not a problem for me though, as I go for the oldbar addon). :)
Version 0.1.5 uses pixmapped scrollbars whereas 0.1.4 used the default Murrina engine scrollbars. I haven't posted the new screenshots yet. The download link will take you to my deviant art page where you can see the new scrollbar. As for the problems with Firefox, I don't know how Firefox uses GTK nowadays so I really don't know how to fix it. I'll play around and see if I can come up with something. It appears that Firefox is treating that window as a menu, but using the text color from a different widget class.
Very good theme !
Thanks :)
Hey, looks gr8 dude. :) Just in case you are on the ubuntuusers forums (there is someone with the same avatar): I thought you switched from OpenBox to some tiling WM?
Thanks. Yeah, that's me. I use awesome window manager from time to time, but I still love openbox :D
