Lots of kudos to that guy!

It's not supposed to be a direct clone, but rather an adaption of it for GTK2.
I am no longer working on this theme. There will be no more updates.
Enjoy!

There were some problems with the server this theme was hosted on. Gnome-look only offers to host one file per theme page, and I didn't want to split the parts on diffrent pages. Now all parts (Metacity, Cgwd and GTK2) are in one tarball.
0.5, Metacity theme is now included along with the GTK2 pack.
--------
0.4, Some minor pixmap changes. I also added a "Start-icon" for the gnome-panel. You should just need to add it to $HOME/.icons/theme-name/scalable/places/start-here.svg
White line issue in Nautilus is now fixed, thanks to h-milch.
--------
0.3, I just saw on a friend's computer that the theme looks *too* dark on old monitors, so I brightened it up a bit.
--------
0.2, Made active tabs a bit brighter, polished some pixmaps and changed a font colour that was wrong. Problems mentioned in 0.1 are still present though.
--------
First release, 0.1. There is an annoying white line at the top of the scrollbar in Nautilus. Haven't found a solution yet...
--------
Known issues:
Buttons checkboxes and text fields in Firefox don't look too good (hard to read sometimes).
If anyone knows how to fix this, please tell me!

This is the best one I have come across yet. :)
simply awesome!
Hi! I love it, fantastic job. Just one thing. It's possible to keep the white sheet and black text in OpenOffice? Black is nice in bars and buttons, but I don't like it for a paper sheet...^^ Thanks!
Great work, this theme has to be the most useable dark theme I've found so far. I've made a Die Hard + CyberPunk inspired Emerald theme to match, tell me what you think ;-) http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Die+Hard+4.0+-+CyberPunk+(TPC-SysOP)?content=90483
i really like this theme too bad it's not originaly yours or i bet you's rename it huh? lol wii sucks (the console)
even worse then that console for kids
This is really one of the nicest themes I have seen! I just installed it and I love it! Thank you!
This theme is very nice, its hard to find a true Dark theme designer that actually does a good job. Also there is very few of us left that still design quality dark themes. Keep up the good work.
Hi, i like the theme, but whenever i try to compose a mail...thunderbird dies! i change back to human theme, no problems, so there is something not quite in order somewhere... Any ideas? anybody? Ashrael
But I have a question. How did you get the windows and all that to have that glow to them? And also that "faded" look on non-focused windows? Thanks, and again, great theme!
I purposely registered here just to tell you how much I love your theme. I use it on both my desktop and my laptop. Thank you so much!!!
really nice theme! Good work! Though sometimes the color themes makes certain things hard to read, such as it changes the font color or the background color of certain websites. Try look at yahoo mails login site: mail.yahoo.com , it seems like the whole background is dark grayish, and the smaller words are unreadable. I'm unfamiliar with how these themes settings work, otherwise I sure would like to help you make this even better :/ But nonetheless, this theme is absolutely awesome :D
I would like to make it so that the text fields in FireFox are white with black text again, not black/teal. I have tried editing the option that tells FireFox whether or not to use the desktop theme, but it still does it. Advice?
This theme is great.congratulations. - I had the same issue, so my solution was to start firefox, go to edit preferences content colors. Then you need to untick the box saying "use system colours" restart firefox. then you can read the web pages in standard colour. Thats it.#
hello there, Please create wii icon set too. Thank you here is a wallpaper to go with it :) http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Ubuntu+Wii?content=58284
Theme seems to not be applying in Ubuntu 6.10. Just installed and have not changed anything. It worked fine for me in Suse 10.2. I take it I am missing a GTK engine? Any help? Great theme BTW. :)
Problem solved: sudo aptitude install gtk2-engines-pixbuf Again, great theme. :D
I'm not using gcompiz or emerald, I just put the wii-Black folder into the theme folder. And the title bar isn't the one for the theme.
I like this theme, what wallpaper do you use?
What theme engine do you need for this? I just installed murrine engine .21 but I'm still getting errors. The blue highlights around each button/menu option aren't showing up. (I have Ubuntu Edgy+beryl+nvidiabeta)
i like this theme, but there is one annoying thing with this and all dark themes, when using openoffice, the icons turn all ugly and use the high contrast icons. Is there anyway to setup openoffice to use the normal icons or to fool it to think it is not a dark theme.
man that's stupid! Glad I don't use xul apps...that's annoying!
You say it's GPL but in the deviantart page it says: Please DO NOT redistribute or modify any parts of this skin, without my permission first. so how can you make something GPL when the original author doesn't ??
heh, yeah, didn't think of that. thanks for pointing it out. :P
