Keep up the good work.. This is my default even though It gives me some proble with firefox and GAIM.
in Firefox, both background of text box and the content is black.
in GAIM , both the toltip and its text is white!
Even though 0.5 sported lighter colors, this one is really good.
Which Metacity theme would you suggest to complement this GTK theme?
(I'm using LiNsta-Black-Plastic ATM).
Good job!
The comment above was for the previous release, it was a bit dark actually :)
Anyway, I think ATER Metacity theme goes just fine with Polycarbonate-DarkOne:

Well, actually I was able to brighten the theme by changing the Polycarbonate-DarkOne/gtk-2.0/gtkrc file.
I changed two values, from:
bg[NORMAL] = "#2a2d35"
base[NORMAL] = "#37383f"
to:
bg[NORMAL] = "#6a6d75"
base[NORMAL] = "#67686f"
So far, editing files in OpenOffice Writer became a bit easier ;-)
Neither I am happy with this gradiential tab colours, I just didn't manage to change it.
Tabs are handled by clearlooks engine, and clearlooks (cairo branch) does it like that, I don't know why...

it even makes gtk-gnutella look sexy.....only downside is the text in address bars isnt quite distinct enough when using firefox.
I love this theme...truly
I liked version 0.5 colors better - easier on the eyes.

;)
could the tab titles (labeled 'tab1' in the first shot) be flat instead of having a gradient?
