Well, that is because of the metacity theme you must be using. Its not related to this theme.
actually it is. your style recommends a color to metacity.... seems you kept some bogus value for inactive windows - so its impossible to use any other metacity style without messing it up. just guessing.
This is a really nice theme. I actually like it better than the original.
