Thanks for this wonderful theme. I uploaded my modification of it under the name Aurora Australis. You can see it here. http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Aurora+Australis?content=107222
Here is the engine 1.3 .deb and it has your theme in it, with the other default engine themes.(tested in Gutsy) http://www.4shared.com/file/32172905/e4249c81/gtk2-engines-aurora_13-mint1_all.html
cool, thanks!
How do you add the panel background?
right click on your panel and choose Properties. Go to the Background tab and choose "Background image" then browse to the included file (wherever you put it)
Ok I am in XFCE so that's why.
Added this to the gtkrc file for the panel. style "theme-panel" { bg_pixmap[NORMAL] = "aurora_borealis.png" } ####### GNOME PANEL SETTINGS ################### class "*Applet*" style "theme-panel" class "*PanelWidget*" style "theme-panel" widget_class "*PanelToplevel*" style "theme-panel" widget_class "*PanelApplet*" style "theme-panel" widget_class "*PanelWidget*" style "theme-panel" ################################################ ####### PER APPLICATIONS HACKS ################# widget_class "*Netstatus*" style "theme-panel" widget_class "*Tomboy*Tray*" style "theme-panel" widget "*fast-user-switch*" style "theme-panel" ################################################ ####### XFCE SETTINGS ########################## class "Panel" style "theme-panel" class "Xfce*Panel*" style "theme-panel" widget_class "*Xfce*Panel*" style "theme-panel" ################################################
Also resize image to 48x48 instead of 25x25.
I really like it. It's simple and soft. Good job!!
Thanks!
