Great theme, fits me perfectly! One thing annoys me, and I can't seem to fix it. Running tomboy, all text in the tomboy applet is the same color as the background which makes the list of notes unreadable unless you select item one by one. It only applies when I use this theme...
Yep, I have this problem with tomboy too.
Come on, you can only dodge the icon question for so long! Love your work
Nice theme! Where I get the icons theme?
Hi to all. I've made some icons which I use at the AWN dock. They're in .svg format. Until now I have icons for the terminal, exaile, firefox, skype, text editor, virtualbox, gimp, inkscape, and a generic one as folder icon. Not many, but they look nicely matching to the Reuben theme. If someone is interested in developing a full icon theme (and knows how to do it), just e-mail me and see what we can do. I don't have much time for this, but I could hand over my ideas and designs and maybe do some new ones. Contact: jortogar(at)hotmail.com
Hi I've uploaded some examples of the icons I was working on. Hope you like them, if you'd like to help me just send me a message. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a12/slowstyler/folder_icons_for_reuben.png http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a12/slowstyler/Terminal.png http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a12/slowstyler/inkscape.png
Hi, I just added some icons you can use for AWN dock or similar... or whatever you want. http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=112962
Nice work on pekwm themes, i dont use anymore but i like what you do. congrats Sorry for my poor english.
never mind. i see that i am, in fact, crazy. :-)
Maybe I'm just crazy but when I click on the GTK theme download, it takes me to another page with a metacity link...which I, in turn, click on...and it takes me back to the GTK theme download page....and I'm stuck in the whole bathroom mirror infinity loop thing. Can someone suggest how to escape the loop and actually download the GTK theme of Reuben? This is beautiful.
i love all of the things you've done. i used to look at it and wish i had linux when i saw your uploads on customize.org and now i am glad i can use them, hah. keep it up.
This is a VERY nice theme. I used it for quite a long time, and it's likely I'll probably go back to it after a while. You did a great job on it.
Thanks :)
I get an error...but the theme works :). And its great! /home/ed/.themes/Reuben/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:1884: error: invalid string constant "theme-tree", expected valid string constant
Solved
Noticed you got ANOTHER Feature at Custo! You deserve it. I for one am glad you're part of the linux community to put a much needed stab of style in a stagnant pool of murrine color mods. Many thanks!!! So what's next? A Pixel Elegance Port?
Thanks, longfinkillie. Yes, it is a surprise to see my works featured. I'm glad for their support.
This is so great, men! I love it. Keep up the good work, you're fantastic.
Thanks
Did you have to install any packages to have your font render that way? Or did you just reconfigure some packages?
Yes, as I'm using Arch Linux, I used a patched version of cairo, freetype2 and libxft from the aur repository for Arch Linux. If you are using Ubuntu, try this http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=235526&highlight=subpixel

Any way we can get the image you used for the top bar in beryl, metacita etc for our Gnome pannels? maybe something for both a top and bottom pannel?
I suppose I can make it an option for people who want an image panel. Ok, I will do it asap.
Looks really nice, thanks. I do have one problem with the pannel, either the image one or just the brown one with taking over the background of the shutdown window. Like this, http://img501.imageshack.us/img501/2672/logoutoe7.jpg
