Known issues:
OpenOffice / LibreOffice - Calc doesn't show cell background color
Solution:
Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Accessibility > Automatically detect high-contrast [off]

Install, unzip:
1. Copy DarkCold4 dir to /usr/share/themes
2. Appearence ->Select any theme, Customize...->Controls Tab, select DarkCold4 (gnome2/mate)
3. Window Border Tab, select DarkCold4
(gnome2/mate)
4. Add Panel background from
/usr/share/themes/DarkCold4/gtk-2.0/Panel/
- panel-bg.png for bottom panel
- panel-bg-top.png for top panel

10 Absolutely the best theme out there that supports GTK3. I love literally everything about it. I'm a huge fan of skeuomorphism so I'm really glad you turned this into reality. Works just great with MATE + Compiz (also using your Metacity decoration with compiz-decorator)! Flat's not my thing, long live glossy design!
The cinnamon theme is really beautiful, however the window borders do not work (tried to download the additional muffin theme too, no luck, it just shows up in the theme selector but changes nothing when selected), and the controls do not show up in the theme selector. The instructions you linked are just a thread with a few dozens of general Linux Mint tips and tricks, couldn't find anything about fixing window borders. If you need any info I'd be happy to provide it.

DE: Cinnamon 4.4.8 WM: Mutter (Muffin) Distro: Linux Mint 19.3 Tricia x86_64 Thanks for doing this :) There's no other theme quite like this one, everyone is doing flat stuff these days. I'll try and see if I can fix it myself, and if I find something I'll make a pull request.
I was looking through the github repo, I see metacity-theme-3 was copied from another project and worked, but I think the WM was actually using metacity-theme-1, since the one you're using is referencing some files that are not even in your folder. I deleted metacity-theme-3 and it works, but for the future it would probably be best if there was one.

works 90% on ubuntu 18.04 1st it has no Gnome shell 2nd close button minimize and exapand buttons etc. not showing only a small x and small arrows. hope you improve it if you want a screenshot i mail it to you when you reply.
This is BY FAR the best dark theme that I have run across. Very beautiful! Thanks a lot for your hard work. :-)
