Will this theme work with Unity?

AptenodyticPower

In general, it looks good, but the icon for the keyboard layout on the notification area is simply way too small to provide any useful indication. I'd ditch it and use the default (text) indication instead.

rgeber

Ahoi! Works fine for me and looks really good. Running it on Gentoo, didn't encounter any problems so far + it looks quite stunning. Thanks a lot.

TheMightyRechecki

I *love* this - but have one problem. On my Thinkpad 410 LCD it is almost impossible for me to determine where the text selection is when the white on grey text is highlighted (e.g. in gedit, or in the search box of firefox). I'm a bit colorblind but I believe T410 is the just about the lowest contrast panel there is. Is there any way to customize this?

angstrom

I have also this problem. I change the text selection color to "#86ABD9" (light blue). To do this, edit the file /usr/share/themes/Elegant-GTK/gtk-2.0/gtkrc Find the line : base[SELECTED] = shade (0.93, @selected_bg_color) Change it to : base[SELECTED] = shade (0.93, "#86ABD9")

Hello! GREAT theme. Everything looks beautiful... One question - in your screenshot the colors for bread crumbs are different than mine (notice screenshot) and apps - is there a fix for it? I reinstalled and logged out/in and nothing! Your help is greatly appreciated!!! http://i939.photobucket.com/albums/ad233/goulav/elegant.png Thank you!

Was looking for some decent theme to replace the wonderful Shiki, which just has been sitting for too long on my desktop and.. the moment I saw Elegant, it was instant love!! Boom! My desktop went from a slightly boring GNOME of the 00's to the future! It's just amazing, can't take my eyes away from the screen! Honestly, thank you so much for putting so much work into creating something so beautiful AND make it free! Free software at its best!

gateo

With the theme the bookmarks for Adobe Reader are white on white and hence invisible. Anyway of fixing that?

gateo

The Google Chrome theme link is broken. Can that be fixed? Thanks!

andoni

What's the music player you're using on those screenshots? Awesome theme, by the way.

Hi, I tried install Pidgin theme by Elegant-theme, but theme not working (I don't have theme in Pidgin). So I find it on filesystem (/usr/share/themes/Elegant-GTK/purple) and copy to ~/.purple/themes/Elegant/purple/blist and it's working :)

ontwowheels

LOVE the theme, running it on two Ubuntu 10.10 machines. On the 64 bit maching, my Applications, Places, System pull down menus don't look right. They are not dark like in the screen shot, they are a bright plain ugly gray. Any ideas? 64 bit related? THANKS
