Description:These new desktop files replace and enhance my original
wmf-converter Version: 0.2
wmf-converter was created in direct response to
the appearance of the WMF-Thumbnail-Plugin for Konqueror by Heiko Schaefer.
http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=11404
Being able to preview .wmf files actually created the possibility
that they could be useful in linux apps.
This update is in response to the fact that version 0.2
no longer seems to be working with kde3.3
wmf-converter uses the wmf2svg and wmf2eps commands from libwmf.
To create *.eps or *.svg output files in the same directory as the
selected (source) *.wmf input files. It saves the new file using the same base name
but changes the extension of the converted file to the appropriate format.
These new files now include the option of sending the *.wmf file to
the display program from ImageMagick to directly show the .wmf files
and allow further manipulation and conversion options.
additional *.desktop files included in order to address more filetypes.

not sure why, for the time being you'll have to use wmf2eps or display to do your conversions. hopefully I'll have time to look into this problem tomorrow. If anyone spots a solution please post it here Thanks
To be more accurate the results when using the wmf2svg option are not totally predictable. Some conversions look quite good, some look like the job was halfway done and others just look like black dots. Either it is a problem with wmf2svg command from libwmf or with the options sent by my desktop file. So my suggestion is try it, maybe the results will be what you need. If someone knows how to get more predictable results I look forward to hearing from you.
