It REALLY needs bargraphs to show the disk space usage. Not having them makes it more difficult to read. People want to be able to see things like that "at a glance." Otherwise, it looks pretty nice.
I find the layout of the filesystem part to be quite confusing. The name of the file system is below the space heading, and the space is below the free space heading. The free space has no heading. That is confusing, and should be fixed, I think.
The screenshot is old! this problem was fixed 2 or 3 month ago! For an updated screenshot look the main page of project! thanks anyway! :)
thanks. btw ... do you know what the difference is between the 1.5 and 1.7? or could you point me to a changelog? Thanks
The changelog is in the main page of project!
when i installed this package my OS information shows the kubuntu logo. Anyway you could fix that? /me hearts debian
On main project page (the link is written in the description of this package) there are the instructions to change icons.. read them!
Microsoft finally got rid of the "My" stuff in Windows Vista. Frankly they should have never used it in Windows in the first place. Now it's thankfully just "Computer", "Documents" and so forth. Get the hint? ;)
I tried compiling it due to lack of an AMD64 package. It compiled fine, but wouldn't install: kobra:/home/darkapostrophe/downloads/sysinfo-1.3# unsermake install mkdir -p -- /usr/share/mimelnk/applications mkdir: `/usr/share/mimelnk/applications' exists but is not a directory Error creating /usr/share/mimelnk/applications/x-sysinfo.desktop. Exit status 1. kobra:/home/darkapostrophe/downloads/sysinfo-1.3# Could you help me, or build an AMD64 package, please?
when you lunch "make install" are you root???
Before dinner. :P No, seriously though, I ran ./autostart.sh, then ./configure, then unsermake and lastly unsermake install as root.
why unsermake and not "make"???
darkapostrophe@kobra:~/downloads/sysinfo-1.3$ make WARNING: use unsermake instead of make or use a wrapper script, e.g. makeobj!!! unsermake all
sorry, but i don't know how to help you... sorry!
i have added the link to the source code! enjoy!
this is very cool. i couldn't find a link to the sources though. where are they? thanks!
