Anti-SCO Wallpaper
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Description:
This is an early version of an Anti-SCO Wallpaper that I gimped real quick. I would like to use the inferior (according to SCO) open source method to improve this. Please give me feedback.
Thanks,

0.2 I made the background much more colorful (as opposed to just orange) and I improved some of its reflective qualities. The colors come from a four color wallpaper created by David Krider, and further blended it with a gray scaled version of the default kde wallpaper.

why even waste breathe/bandwidth on flaming em ? when they fold, (finally) send em a fruitbasket, with a 'Get Well Soon' card attached. nothing like tons of fruit on a X-sco executive's doorstep :-)
problem to improve the wallpaper will be to make the SCO Logo nicely integrated. Apart from what SCO is currently doing, the SCO logo has ugly colors IMHO. Anyway, I'm not sure, if it's worth the effort to improve this wallpaper. Leave it as it is. Anything else is waste of time, since soon you will get the answer "SCO, who?" to the question "Do you remember SCO?".
Agreed ;)
Caldera was a joke, as a Linux distribution, to begin with. Is this the only way they can make money? I hope they go under as a result of this lawsuit.
But what is SCO??
SCO is a Utah based UNIX distributor, used to be called Caldera Linux. They claim that the originat Unix code belongs to them.
I thought I recognized it. ;-) Nice touch with laying the other image on top. I'm going to have to try that with my "crystal"-colored variant!
I love it! Sco needs a lot of people to stand up and let them know that we won't deal with another Microsoft in the *nix world. Good job!
Don't worry about it, there have been many papers pubished that all seem to indicate SCO is not going to win this. Even the respected and trusted Eric Raymond wrote a position paper on the lawsuit which can be found here and is very detailed as well as backed up with a lot of evidence: http://opensource.org/sco-vs-ibm.html
One interesting opinion I heard is that while distributing Linux, SCO have also distributed their "copyrighted code" (if any exists...) under GPL, so they have donated that code to the communitiy.
PCLinuxOnline [ http://www.pclinuxonline.com ] has been hosting a boycott against SCO for a while now: http://www.pclinuxonline.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Forums&file=viewtopic&topic=871&forum=35 There is a petition asking SCO to end the litigation at http://www.pclinuxonline.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=4639 (sorry for the double post)
I agree 100%. SCO should go to hell.
Beware, SCO could sue you for this (be careful with the logo). Otherwise, I don't think the orange color is appropriate (better with a black background).
Actually, I've already signed a petition asking SCO to sue me. The petition is located at: http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?scosueme I'm signature 236 ;) I need to get some sleep for work, I'll try your suggestion and post it tomorrow. Thanks

I tried it with a black background, but I could not get it to look right. I did get rid if the orange background though. If you think you can get it to work with a darker background better please let me know and I can send you my development images. Thanks
