What does "Linux Desktop Environment" really mean? There are definitions for Desktop Environment and what it is. And there is Definition for Linux (as it's kernel) and how it is used for whole system what has Linux + GNU OS + DE/WM + Applications (Aka Distro).
So, just thinking shouldn't it say more like "Desktop Environment for Linux"? :-)
I find that it sounds better when it says "linux desktop environment" also i find if i use linux that this wall can be used by people that use GNOME as well KDE. :-)
