This is so sweet looking. A bit ashamed to admit that it gave me odd feelings in my loins ;) Keep up the superb work. Tips to those who do not feel safe using the terminal. Open a file browser > [Right Click] anywhere in the filebrowser window and choose [Admin Mode] punsh in your root pass > locate and copy your newly downloaded entrance theme to [# usr/share/entrance/themes] [Right Click] The desktop > Choose [Settings Panel] > choose [System] from the top icons > [Login configurator]. Punch in your root password > [Change Theme] > Choose your theme and click it > wait for a second or two and click [ok] at the “Do you like to use this theme for the default entrance theme ?” popup box. Press and hold [Ctrl] [Alt] [Backspace] and viola! You should be looking at you new sexy entrance theme. /TaCster
I now have all of the black themes running together, and my monitor just kissed me. Keep up the good work :)
is there a download url to the previous version of this theme anywhere (released sometime around 18 Aug) ? I find this latest one has a "herringbone" type background with the elbuntu logo. The previous version didn't have this and looked much better on my widescreen gentoo box. So I much prefer that one Thanks alan
Sorry, I'll propose a version without Elbuntu logo ^^
It's done :)
How do you change the entrance theme any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Hi! My solution to change entrance theme is to rename the new theme as " default.edj" and paste it in "/usr/share/entrance/themes". I don't know if there is an other solution, but it works :)
entrance_edit_gui in e17 CVS works just fine for this. You can also do it the long hard way round with ecore_config and there's a config file creation script installed with the binaries somewhere. I haven't used it for ages but it pretty much worked ok for me last time I used it
nice work men looks good
