I like your color scheme as well. What is the color scheme you are using?
It is a custom one that you can find here : http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=12078
Could you please start using "Version" field? It helps tracking changes w/o need to look inside the item and reading changelog. Thanks.
I will correct it for the next version, please excuse me.
I've packaged debs for this window dec here: http://www.ciasaboark.org/~ciasa/debs/kwin-neos_0.1-1_i386.deb
Signature here: http://www.ciasaboark.org/~ciasa/debs/kwin-neos_0.1-1_i386.deb.sig
My first debian package, built on unstable.
i love it this windec. good work! vote:GOOD ;)
Hum... i'm a newbie. i follow this steps: ./configure make but... on make retuns me this error: cd . && make -f admin/Makefile.common configure make[1]: Entering directory `/home/fnddth/themes/window/kwin-neos-0.1' Can't locate object method "path" via package "Autom4te::Request" at /usr/bin/autom4te line 81. make[1]: *** [configure] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/fnddth/themes/window/kwin-neos-0.1' make: *** [configure] Error 2 Can anyone help me?
This windec really deserves an ebuild! Wonderful!

cool... looks great! and hey.. tar xvzf says it's software from the future.. kewl.. ;-) oki, have to go an install it now.. ;-)
Thanks for this one, looks very professional and clean. It's now my current decoration, thank you :)
It's great that Open Source software allows everyone to create derivative works. But please update your copyright notices! Example: The copyright notice on the neos.cpp file reads: "Keramik KWin client (version 0.8) Copyright (C) 2002 Fredrik Höglund ".
Well that's the way it was in the beginning, I don't think I'm supposed to put my own copyright on something I release under the GPL.
You don't want to remove the old copyright, but neither do you want to inundate Keramik developers with support requests for Neos :-)
From what I understand, all that you *really* have to leave is the GPL part, but I could be wrong. Either way, just give props to the original author in the README or something like that and it should be good enough. That said, this looks pretty nifty so I'll have to try it at home. Please tell me that when a window is shaded that only the titlebar shows, but maybe rounded. Other than Grover, I have yet to find a windec that doesn't look silly with the bottom of the frame of the windec showing when the window is shaded. lol
Just put a line Copyright 2004 yourname under that one. That way it's clear who worked on the sources and nobody is left out :)
Ok, I'll do it.
