Hi, Does anyone have any idea how I would go about installing this under Gentoo? I've followed the instructions mentioned but configure results in : checking for perl... /usr/bin/perl checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.2) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation! For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log. I'm running qt-4.3.2-r1 Ta ever so.
It's for KDE3, therefore qt3, after all (-;E
Hi! Guys, I've build the Kubuntu package for Gutsy version, using the "right" way of packaging, the MOTU way ;) http://download.tuxfamily.org/lnxteam/packages/kwin/kwin-style-whiteline_0.1-0ubuntu1_i386.deb Cheers.
i love this window decoration, but it won't install >.< it gives the prefix error, and i tried using the one you suggested for Kubuntu, but i'm running Mepis, so i s'pose it's different..? help is very much appreciated! thanks
This doesnt seem to install in Kubuntu 7.04. Configure works, make works, sudo checkinstall works. Still no joy.
Hi, for Kubuntu try ./configure --prefix=/usr I originally wrote it more generally since the KDE directory seems to be somewhere else in every Distro ;)
Yes! It works now -- thanks very much for the help.
I must admit: Thanks for that, because all KWin decorations I tried to build for myself turned brutally ugly that I gave up...You did it! That's for me the reason for going back to the more of stability of Kwin, against Emerald.
Thankx!! Nice work! .... It would be interesting to have a port of Kore for Emerald in Kwin... If is it possible of course. bye!
