Description:

This theme is completed.
I've applied qtcurve & polyester to the gtk,kde & qt styles.
QtCurve -> qt, gtk 2.x, & firefox (use Tango Default Theme and it works)
Polyester -> kde 3.x

It should be Polyester in everything (kde, gtk2, qt)
but no one want to do it at this moment.

This is also idea for your desktop may be functional - please look at panel on the picture 1

Dependencies:
-------------
QtCurve for gtk2,kde3,qt
Polyester for KDE 3.x
Window Decoration: Crystal http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Crystal?content=13969

Optional:
GTK Styles & Fonts (to switch theme to qtcurve for all)

Hi!
This is my idea about functional desktop
Left bottom is quickrun programs area. Next to (if necessary) is Kmenu, next to KControl Menu and Show Desktop Button. I think is really functional scheme.
Apart from that my idea is to make polyster gtk 2.x and qt (cause lasfm player don't show too) themes. I think this look elegant with this style and transparent window decoration (Crystal only (not CrystalGL -cause performance)).
My goal is to create some Linux thing. Some Linux Art, Linux Style, Linux Scheme/Theme. Cause I think Linux's world is able to create some better look than Vista/XP look like style.
Create some different but elegant and great.
I'm also working on some linux desktop project. I'll show you I think.

If someone interested with create qt or gtk style, please write .

And critique is welcome

I also tried to change color
Menu Text to black. We have to change Highlight Text to black so eg. in konqueror when we highlight the icon we'll get not highlighted text below the icon.

Just wondering, the screenshots look very similar to qtcurve, why not use that as a starting point?

Thx for Your comment. I immedietely checked qtcurve settings. Yeah, it's highly configurable, but I can't get it work with rounded corners in menu. So I wanted to say: every detail is important. Cause desktop designers know (or not;) that every pixel is important. Pixel by pixel - is they doing that way? I think yes, but maybe not;) I did compare in screenshots. I'm sending it.

But then the window border has to also round, so the round menubar isn't next to the square window border

mrloosack2

I'm not so good in english but if I understand well I my humble opinion this is good looking to me. Rounded menu, next to 2px free space and next to rounded blue menu. Isn't it?
