I am not the autor but as I had the same issue no kwin:
I download the .gz
then
apt-get install fakeroot
tar -xjf xxxxx.bz2
$ cd xxxxxx
$ fakeroot debian/rules binary
$ cd ..
$ sudo dpkg -i xxxxxxx.deb (or use kinaptic)
And it worked perfectly

Howdy!
I hope someone can help me: I want to use the theme on an OpenBSD machine (kde 3.2.3). Therefore I have donloaded the source pkg, but there is no configure file. I have tried a lot of different ways (autoconf, automake) to get it to work, but nothing works!
So how to I create the configure script?
Thnx a lot for any answer!
FR1
look in the debian/rules file. there is a command, make -f admin/Makefile.common, that'll create the configure file. then you can just ./configure, make, make install.

i have rebuild it
anyway i was following the distdir and dpkg-build but i wanna know if there is no debian/ rules file then is there anyway to install it with fake root if yes just give me the link

Is this gonig to slap another OS' logo all over my desktop? I run Kubuntu, not Linspire. I love the theme, but the logos aren't necessary.
Can anyone make a 64 bit version for breezy? please?
I made deb for Hoary Hedgehog. http://nusclyk.free.fr/package-ubuntu-hoary/los-linspireclear-style_1.11-0.0.0.50.linspire0.1_i386.deb Enjoy !

Is this a style or a windeco becaue for me I only get a new windeco.
hi! my problem is that only the windeco works. the style itself isnt visible in kcontrol

If you get a chance it would be nice to include a packaged binary for RPM based distributions.

Thanks for that URL, that was just what I needed in my Linux OS.
I installed it but I can't see it in kcontrol. I don't know what I did wrong. I installed it with dpkg -i. I'm using kubuntu horay.
