Is this gonig to slap another OS' logo all over my desktop? I run Kubuntu, not Linspire. I love the theme, but the logos aren't necessary.

This is the deb for 5.10 Breezy Badger

m0ns00n

This deb doesn't work here: dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of los-linspireclear-style: los-linspireclear-style depends on kdelibs4 (>= 4:3.4.2); however: Package kdelibs4 is not installed. los-linspireclear-style depends on libqt3c102-mt (>= 3:3.3.3); however: Package libqt3c102-mt is not installed. dpkg: error processing los-linspireclear-style (--install): dependency problems - leaving unconfigured Errors were encountered while processing: los-linspireclear-style I have breezt... Why did the KDE team ever make it this hard to install new styles...

TimLinux

Is this a style or a windeco becaue for me I only get a new windeco.

tom2301

hi! my problem is that only the windeco works. the style itself isnt visible in kcontrol

salahuddin66

i have compile in kde 3.3 debian sarge. it should work in it. u may be using upgraded version of kde

tom2301

i'm using ubuntu kde 3.4. , but it should be fully compatible to debian/sarge.

salahuddin66

I am a newbie to Linux. using Mandrake 10.1, I like this theme a lot. Please make an RPM for Mandrake 10.1 Thanks

I tried the above method but I get this: Alex debian # make -f /root/downloads/marlin_build_los-linspireclear-style-1/admin/Makefile.common grep: Makefile.am: No such file or directory *** Creating aclocal.m4 aclocal: `configure.ac' or `configure.in' is required make: *** [cvs] Error 1 Alex debian #

salahuddin66

juse go i in the marlin_build_los-linspireclear-style-1 folder then give u r command do not give it while in the admin better do as usr then install as root :) make -f admin/Makefile.common here is the example ? i have done thanx to ykpaiha ---------------------------------- c: little how to by ykpaiha on: 05/03/2005, 1:47 I am not the autor but as I had the same issue no kwin: I download the .gz then apt-get install fakeroot tar -xjf xxxxx.bz2 $ cd xxxxxx $ fakeroot debian/rules binary $ cd .. $ sudo dpkg -i xxxxxxx.deb (or use kinaptic) And it worked perfectly [reply to this]

Howdy! I hope someone can help me: I want to use the theme on an OpenBSD machine (kde 3.2.3). Therefore I have donloaded the source pkg, but there is no configure file. I have tried a lot of different ways (autoconf, automake) to get it to work, but nothing works! So how to I create the configure script? Thnx a lot for any answer! FR1

Superstoned

look in the debian/rules file. there is a command, make -f admin/Makefile.common, that'll create the configure file. then you can just ./configure, make, make install.

FXartist

If you get a chance it would be nice to include a packaged binary for RPM based distributions.

salahuddin66

actually i have only debian if i got change i will do it, after my exam thanx

ykpaiha

I am not the autor but as I had the same issue no kwin: I download the .gz then apt-get install fakeroot tar -xjf xxxxx.bz2 $ cd xxxxxx $ fakeroot debian/rules binary $ cd .. $ sudo dpkg -i xxxxxxx.deb (or use kinaptic) And it worked perfectly

salahuddin66

i have rebuild it anyway i was following the distdir and dpkg-build but i wanna know if there is no debian/ rules file then is there anyway to install it with fake root if yes just give me the link thanx

muhammad

salahuddin66

turbored

Thanks for that URL, that was just what I needed in my Linux OS.

DaBlade

I installed it but I can't see it in kcontrol. I don't know what I did wrong. I installed it with dpkg -i. I'm using kubuntu horay.
