This theme is based on ChristmasTime made by Paul Boyer (Mormegil). I have tried to make the theme as close as possible.
What the theme includes:
Windeco. For deKorator
Fonts.
Icon theme. Mix of ChristmasTime and Crystal Clear by Everaldo.
KBFX menu.
KDM Login theme.
Kicker backgrounds.
Mouse cursors. Made by Keila. Ported from windows.
Rainlendar skin. http://www.rainlendar.net/cms/index.php
Splash screen.
Wallpapers.
Howto.pdf. Made for my Azenis theme. It does not explain everything, sorry about that!
Emerald theme
SuperKaramba themes:
Icon-bar + Trashcan http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/KDE+Trash?content=39184 (Made this only because that xsnow wipes the icons away. If you don't use xsnow, this is not needed)
Kclock http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/KClock?content=66205 (You need to use the included theme file from ChristmasTime. It is an old version. I didn't understand the coding in the newer version's)
Liquid Weather background
Sysinfo theme
This will be the last theme I make for KDE3 as I expect most ppl will use KDE4 (I will not).
So thank you all for your kind words on all my themes! Hope you enjoyed them

Happy Christmas all!

Hi Ezy, shall I tell you why i love this theme? The easy reason is, that I had it in Windows until up to last year. But then I made a complete change over to ubuntu and wiped Windows off my harddisk. So I do not have Windows anymore. But the loving of this theme has remained. And I have already sent it to a developer to see, what he will say. I hope, he will help me to figure out how to make this work in Gnome. Greetings Karmibastler
I there anybody who could help to make this nice theme working on gnome-Desktop? I love this theme but I use gnome-Desktop and so this theme cannot be installed properly. Especially the Metacity causes problems because of being a kde-Version and no gnome-Version. So i would be thankful, if anybody could help here. Greetings Karmicbastler
Hi! Cool that you like the theme! :) As you probably have figured out, this theme is not for Gnome. If you want it all you will need KDE3 (not KDE4). I am not using Gnome and I never will, so I wont make this theme for Gnome, sorry! I am working on a Emerald-theme (window decoration) and this will work for Gnome if you use Compiz. It is not done yet, and I'm meaning to release it on 1:st December (or sooner). It will be more close to the original. I will release this here, so check out for a update on this theme.
Now I have tried so far to install this nice theme. But when I want to install the gtk-Theme, then i get the Error-message, that this theme doesn't seem to be a valid theme. The icons I could install successfully as well as the Wallpaper. Could you please make a package for Gnome-Desktop please. Perhaps this would help. Greetings Karmicbastler
First let me say: you are great!! You must have hacked Windows and made it compatible for Linux. This theme is really great. This is, what I am always looking for, and now i found it here. But one question: will this work in Gnome too?? Greetings Karmicbastler
The Splash doesn't seem to work nicely with my resolution (1600x1200). Any hints on getting this to fit the screen? It seems to take up about 60% of the screen (as though it were perhaps 1280x800 or so).
Don't know if this will work, but decompress the splashtheme, then open Theme.rc. Find the line BaseResolution = 1280,1024 Change that to your resolution like this: BaseResolution =1600,1200 The theme is made for 1280x1024 so it will probably look ugly :/
Oh, forgot to say that you need to compress the theme and then install it again after you made your changes, but you probably understood that :P
Neat. Only one question here: what color scheme do you use?
Its Redmond XP, a standard theme. You find it in the list.
Thanks. I also found "DarkNights" works well. I'm not sure if this is standard or one of the "billions and billions" I have downloaded and tested.
The theme is great! May I ask if you know of any website that has tutorials on how to create kde themes/styles?
Don't think you really need a howto for what I did. Just untar whats in the compressed file and I think you understand how it works. I only used Gimp for making icons and windeco, and Inkscape for resizing icons for the icon-theme. It's really nothing to it :) Good Luck!
Thanks for replying. Yeah, I know how to install your theme. I was just wondering if there is any tutorial on creating KDE themes or styles (like domino, baghira etc...). I am not so interested in creating icons or windecos for the moment. Thanks again!
No I'm sorry, don't know of any howtos. I am on the same quest myself. If you find any let me know! :)
Ok, thanks. I will let u know if I find anything interesting.
It's just perfect! I've taken it!
I hate cristhmas but the icons looks really good. Keep up the good work!
dekorator says it's not a valid theme file, any help?
extract the dekorator-theme to a place where you like. then set the paths manually like this: http://web.telia.com/~u00175529/deko.jpg
