I am new to SuSe and Linux. I have 9.0 pro. How do you force an install? (and if you wouldn't mind.. how can i give my user root priveledges so i don't have to log in as root to get file write permissions outside my documents folder?)
Open a console.
For superuser rights, with right to use graphics type:
sux
(password)
for install with force, cd to the dir with the superkaramba rpm and type:
rpm -i --force 7773-superkaramba-0.32-1.i386.rpm
that should be it. All of this can most likely also be done graphicly, but console is faster.

I couldent get yast to install this in SuSE 9.0 but when I did a force install it worked fine
