Description: Ancient Monitor is a Theme for Superkaramba. Monitorating Upstream and Downstream, CPU Load and Temperature. Installation is Simple, just untar the package (tar -xvjf AncientMonitor.tar) and run the installer sh install.sh . Now you have only to follow the instructions.Last changelog:
Added "%" character on CPU Load. Removed the link present in the Theme. Improved Graphics content. Update a better Screenshot.
For me, it wouldn't blend into my desktop - and I guess that would be the same for the main part of all KDE4 users.
Still, you did a god job so I didn't vote bad - but I will not vote good either as I don't really find any need for such an applet, when there are others with similar functionality that blends in better with the desktop.
Of course I respect this.
Maybe it would be nicer on a retro Pc :P
However thanks for the sincerity.
Maybe, other release will have a nicer aspect, for now I take this like an experiment
nice job for first time, few pointers:
do now advertise any links, pages, mails or organizations on widgets;
if you already use ornaments to shape your widget use them in proper fashion, not just little on top and less on bottom. it loses the point if you want it to look ancient;
try to resolve all graphical glitches and inconsistentcies, because when something is on you desktop you notice everything;
give little more detail to it, for example flat lines on sides do not blend with rest of the widget, may I point out that this remark is my personal opinion.
try to upload better quality images for preview
hope my remarks help you.
best of luck with your second theme/widget
