This only displays 2 out of four cores?

kot-begemot

The way it is written requires a separate section in the theme file for each core.

Top does not update on this theme on my opensuse 11.1 machine. Any idea why? Other than that, it's exactly what I was looking for.

Hi, I'd be glad to help you if I can, but I am not sure I understand what you mean. If you take a look at the file OxygenSystemMonitor.theme you'll see that there is no "top". To display the process table the following command is used: ps axo comm, user, pcpu --sort=-pcpu | head -n 6 On the line containing this command and the font specification there is also interval=10000. My guess is that you might need to change that number.

I assumed this was coming from top. When I run the command you said, I get the same output that is displayed in the app. One more question...where is OxygenSystemMonitor.theme? I'd like to change the update interval and change the hdd temp to Fahrenheit if possible.

kot-begemot

Hi again. To edit the theme you need to decompress the skz file. Right-click on OxygenSystemMonitor.skz and select Open With Ark. (If you have a file manager opened you can just drag with the mouse the theme file from the list in Ark to the location you want to save it to.)

In order to change the temperature units you will need to run the hddtemp daemon with the option --units=F So, it will look like this: hddtemp -d --units=F Then in the theme file you will need to change the line text x=92 y=10 fontsize=11 font="Blue Highway" value="°C" align=right to text x=92 y=10 fontsize=11 font="Blue Highway" value="°F" align=right Good luck :)

Why does this show up with a white background? Can't see anything but the images

Did you try selecting different themes in Appearance Settings?
