Description: This is a quick and dirty theme for an lcd clock. I made it because I use the OSXBar, which doesn't have a clock, and I missed having a big clock on the desktop.
I have done my best with the gimp, but arty stuff isn't my thing. There is an xcf file in the tarball if anyone wants to have a fiddle and improve it.
Please note that it requires that you install the font that is included in the tarball. If you use mandrake, use mcc to install the font. If you don't, then you're on your own.
i cant figure out for the life of me how to change from 24hr format. i have changed the file to pH just like my kde clock which is right but it never fixes it. anyone have the proper format for this?
I really love this clock! I like semi-transparent stuff. I hope you don't mind, but I made a slight change to your theme code. I added the AM/PM thing so that I could understand it. :) I inserted this line below between the two original time sensor lines in the theme file:
text x=190 y=50 sensor=time format="AP" color=100,100,100 shadow=1 font="digital readout thick upright" fontsize=24 align="left"
I like how you did the plastic screws too.
It was a bit too big for my desktop. I sized it down and changed the digital background to a color to match my desktop and it worked perfect. Down about 2/3 the size of what it was. Other than that...now it what I've always wanted.
Next version should have background change to make it whatever you want. Easier sizing choices. As long as it works.
This is great, I really like this one. And I would love it if you could have the ability to change from 24-Hour clock to a 12-Hour clock. Also, I did have to edit theme slightly because the text would not fit correctly on the LCD and line up as it should. But, all in all, a great app. Now, if I could only get the weather one to work right...I need to learn some Python.
Can't at this stage. I'm thinking of shifting this to a python based theme, which would allow me to switch between 24hr and 12hr time. At the moment it is simply a 24 hour clock.
I'll get onto the python thing if there is demand for this.

Where can I get the sys monitor you're using? That one is perfect!

Love the clock and the color layout - However - The time covers the date - Is there a method of repairing this issue.
Hi.. I like the clock but can you tell me where you found that gkrellm skin? I've found several similar ones but none with those colors. Thanks!
OK. Just changed the XY numbers, and everything is centered. Great looking clock.
Great theme. However, my graphics are skewed. The time is off center, and covers the date.

Can I get the wallpaper in the second screen shot.
Could you give me a tip on how to change it to 12 hour time?
