You can also edit it by clicking on the Kate/KWrite icon in the bottom right corner.
Install
Extract the tar.gz to somewhere like ~/.kde/share/apps/superkaramba/themes/. Then, open up todotxt.theme in a text editor (like Kate or KWrite or emacs or vi or... you get the picture) and change the /home/andrew/todo.txt to the location of your todo.txt. Note that SuperKaramba does not support ~ (otherwise, I would have included it).
Credits
Andrew Min (me) for creating the theme The Samurize people for inspiring me Gina Trapani for the great idea of todo.txt in the first place net_efekt for creating the background (original image: http://www.flickr.com/photos/wheatfields/1803278949/). Everaldo for the edit icon SuperKaramba, because this obviously wouldn't have been possible without them God, because without him, I wouldn't be here
I have installed this widget and that image is on my desktop, but any text or context is not appeared on that image!! I have changed many time content of todo.txt file but is not appeared.
Thanks for any help or guidance.
Thanks for this widget.
I have extract that file and copied to some place and created one todo.txt file because there was not such file and then change todo.txt path to that file.
But I can not run that yet.
May guide me for this problem ??
Thanks
Two suggestions:
1. Include "interval=1000" (or something similar) to get more instant feedback after editing todo.txt. When I first gave this a try, it looked like nothing happened.
2. As for ~/todo.txt, keeping this as a relative path works. So, "file="todo.txt"" instead of "file="/home/ashlux/todo.txt"". And, "onclick="kwrite 'todo.txt'"" instead of "onclick="kwrite '/home/ashlux/todo.txt'"".
