To get it working:
- kmail must be running
- You must define your foldername (KmailNotify reffers to "inbox" folder)
- "Coreutils" must be installed
Don't worry, KmailNotify will appear in 10 seconds after start.
To decompress archive:
bzip2 -dkv KmailNotify-0.1.theme.bz2

Hy... i've Kontact 1.1.1 with KMail 1.8.1 on KDE 3.4.1 I've retyped the Dcop Call for the Right Work, like this: dcop kmail KMailIface checkMail; sleep 5; echo 'You have ' | tr -d '\n'; dcop kmail KMailIface getFolder /INBOX > /dev/null; dcop 'DCOPRef(kontact,FolderIface)' unreadMessages | tr -d '\n'; echo ' new e-mail messages' to get the Folder List type this: dcop kmail KMailIface folderList and change the folder: /INBOX with your right! Bye Bye...!
Thank you. I'm a marketing guy with no tech experience. This is so simple and a great tool for me to use. I installed it and changed the font and the default inbox name. All works great. I hope you can help with email notification for 3 inboxes with different names. What should the code look like in the KMailNotify.theme file or is this even possible? Thanks again for the theme and any help you can give. Mark

http://graphitekde.sourceforge.net/ I have this one http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/graphitekde/Graphite-Rade8-Template.tar.bz2?download
I like it a lot. I was thinking about making a whole sysmon widget like this, because I don't like the graphics cluttering up my desktop. Good to see that someone else was having the same ideas as me.
Thanks :) Plain text karamba requires plain color wallpaper though.
Aye, but I've been using http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=13089 as my wallpaper. A plain text sysmon would fit well with the flat theme that I've been using.
