Description: A simple alarm clock. I made this because I couldn't find one. To set the alarm scroll up for minutes and down for hours. The clock is set to update every minute so that means it can be off by a minute. Make sure to test your alarm command with the top button. Starting amarok doesnt do much good if your speakers are off. It isn't perfect so if you find problems let me know.

02/21/06 Found and fixed a really bad bug(or just bad programming) that caused the alarm to go off the minute it was set. Added a kttsd alarm to speak a custom made message.
If you're having problems with kttsd reading your alarm, as I did, here is a possible fix.
The problem is that my kttsd does not have the dcop call kttsd.kspeech.sayText(text,talker) available.
It does, however, have kttsd.kspeech.sayMessage(text,talker) (note sayMessage rather than sayText. The kttsd dcop interface also has sayWarning that seems to acomplish the same task).
I assume this is due to the version of kttsd I am running (0.3.0), I couldn't fund any kttsd documentation quickly so I'm not sure.
To solve, change the part of line 160 in alarm.py, that says "sayText" to "sayMessage" (BTW, .skz files are simply zip files so you'll first need to extract the files).
Lastly, thanks to tardigrade for a nice little applet and sorry to all if this isn't the best place for this kind of message.
I was just wondering, how do i install this, what is cc/gcc or something else? i found out that i maybe needed gcc, tried to install it. But it cannot find cc :/ Please help me with links for what to download. Thanks in advance!

It is a super karamba theme. See http://netdragon.sourceforge.net/ssuperkaramba.html all you do is open superkaramba and then open the theme file from within.
