This applet now has a revamped, cleaner interface, with Flat icons.
In the second preview, the colour scheme, wallpaper, weather applet and iconset are all from - guess! - my Flat collection

I'm running 1024X768 and the text extends past the right side of the theme, and goes past it, like the the theme is to narrow. I played with it a little, but I couldn't get it to keep the text inside the theme. Any new versions coming out soon?
Hey, I'm interested in getting a copy of FlatMonitor but sadly the link to it is broken. Are there any other mirrors for it?
There is another sys-mon similar to yours, though not flat, but whats neat about it is, it has lm_sensors utilisation thus i get fan speed and cpu temperature. if you dont want to implement it, i understand, but if you dont mind, making "icons" for it so someone who is clever in python can implement it? other than that, i love it! cheers, jon
Sure, I mean, I cannot write python, so I modifed an existing theme (the original theme did have some sensors, but I stripped them out as my computer has no sensors :) But if you can implement it, I will be happy to do some icons and stuff for you.
I'm not a huge fan of the overall "flat" desktop look but this is really sweet. Keep up the great work. How about a "colorized" version of the flat theme. Kinda like what they did to the old b&w movies. That would be hysterical ;-)
I will create a colour version of Flat - once I run out of stuff to do. At the moment, this is not very likely :) Thanks for the comment though!

Hrm... i think this will accentuate the flat iconset ive been using for a while beautifully. If you still want a screenshot, i can give you one when i get around to installing this.

Wow, Danny! That was fast. It's already on my desktop. You have a complete theme now. I do hope it gets included in the next KDE release.
