Looks really cool except you assumed everyone knows how to install. well i dont .maybe you could share? :) ..
I agree with you. I also don't know how to install a Amarok theme.
I found out how to install Amarok themes. Thanks to the author of the Neon suite. "Extracted images should be moved to : ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/images (create the folder if it doesn't exist)" So in this case, default-the-clean.svg should be extracted into ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/images At my computer, the "images" folder wasn't there, so I created it and this theme now works.
I love the way it look in the picture. I unpacked the .svg in "~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/images: and the only parts that change are the P/P/S/N buttons and it becomes very difficult to see the volume slider. I am root, so how do I convince the computer (Kubuntu 9.10, by the way) to let me put it in "/usr/share/kde4/apps/amarok/images"? Or would even that accomplish the implementation?
sorry man, I should have put some kinda sign here... this theme is deprecated as it only works with the bespin legacy hacks... ...the amarok toolbar will be better in next release. the area in the screenshot that is dark, is made with the bespin legacy hack. Thx
Hate to ask, but the Google machine couldn't tell me: What on Earth are the Bespin legacy hacks?
They are optional hacks you can enable in the qt4 theme bespin, you have to do so during compile time, the flag is called 'amarok hacks'.
Fantastic :D
but could you add sort of a shadow to the buttons? it would make them look more real
