Description: A simple low-contrast style based on Fnis. I always liked that style but it doesn't display long titles accurately. Once I fixed some details I decided to expand it a little and modify it to match my overall settings. The goal was to keep it simple and usable.
Installation:
Inside the tarball you can find the following folders: ultra, ultra2 and stars. The fist two contain the styles while the third contains the optional rating stars.
To install the styles: Copy the folders to $home/.kde/share/apps/amarok/themes or go to configure -> appearance -> Install new style.
To install the custom stars: Copy the content of the stars folder to /usr/share/apps/amarok/images/. A backup of the original files is recommended since it affects all styles.
The fonts in the screenshot look a little blurred, that's because I had to resample the picture, there's a 300KB limit.
If something doesn't work as expected, please include any details you consider relevant so I can fix it. Any suggestions or requests are welcome, if they are doable I might include them in future updates. I hope you like it.
-daXLast changelog:
2008.01.30. I added a little fix for both styles. Now, the details next to the album picture will override the color scheme in case the default text color is any other than black.
Thank you for your comments. Yes, we are all newbies at one time or another. Sometimes I want to do stuff but I can't find documentation anywhere, that's disappointing.
