I just wanted to say, that I love this KDM-Theme. That's the only one, that really looks different...
P.S.: Does anyone know if there is a possibility of getting the old Wipeout 2097 to work on Linux? (Playstation or Win-Emulation or Linux-native (there was a project by Hyperion Software some years ago I think...) is equal if it's fast enough!)
is possible into the same session of your user (into kde, etc.)
the way is xhost + and with root, Xnest -geometry 1024x768 :1 -query localhost &
and finaly
ksnapshot to make the screenshot
Thanks for the quick reply.
However, I keep getting the following error message:
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
Any idea why?
with your user
$ xhost +
and later(with root)
Xnest -geometry 1024x768 :1 -query localhost &
you can change the geometry (1280x1024, 1152x864 etcetera, etcetera)
-locate your kdmrc.
Search this:
[Xdmcp]
# Whether KDM should listen to incoming XDMCP requests.
# Default is true
#Enable=true ---- Uncoment this
-locate your Xaccess.
Uncoment this 2 lines:
#* #any host can get a login window
#* CHOOSER BROADCAST #any indirect host can get a chooser
after, in console (with root):
# Xnest -geometry 1024x768 :1 -query localhost &
-and finally...
ksnapshot
