There was a box with a plain black background around the login fields, inside the nice painted box you see on the thumbnails. I made it semi-transparent (67%), just like all the other black fields around are. Have fun
.PS: I didn't find gnumdk's e-mail addy, therefore I had to create a new post. If anyone can give it to me, I'll mail him my little update so that there's only one post with this theme in it

In case you don't know "how to install", or where to folder such and such folder, you should give the KDM Theme Manager app a try. Works the same as icon, cursor and splash theme managers: you just add the bz2/gz and VOILA!
I have little problem :( I don't have such folder ~/.kde/share/apps/kdm/themes Please help.
~/ refers to your home folder. Dot files are usually hidden too.
hi, i installed your theme. Some time later I booted my box with Error " Bad stock label type". I couldn`t login!!! Boy, I have some important things on my Linux Box. Hope you can tell me the story about this f`***ing thing.
You can always login using the console and then run startx.
Now, I know none of you are talking about it now, but in one of the first comments, someone menchened Yahoo. I just thought that whomever reads this should know, I HATE YAHOO! I've also got a Windows system, and my Mother put Yahoo on it. I've got an old computer, so it slowed WAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAYyyy down. So, anyone that still uses a Windows system, STAY AWAY FROM YAHOO! Thank you. That is all... STUIE FOR GOVERNOR!
If you set the wallpaper as background of KDM then it will look more consistent.

Hi. I got another problem: I tried the link to kdmtheme, and was told that it's outdated/obsolete. So I got a newer version. Install went fine, but when I click on 'KDM Theme Manager' in Control Center, I get 'Command kcmshell "kdmtheme" not found' So, what do I do know?
