how can i use thos icon to change my menu icon?
Do you know what is GPL? The Apple logo is copyrighted, so please, dont treat licenses as a kid's play.
Try trademarked. Don't treat the english language as kids play. I've changed the license so you can go looking for someone else to harass. Thanks.
If you really want to get technical, you can't release any variation of a trademarked logo or other product without express (written) permission from the copyright holder, regardless of what license ("Registered Trademark Apple, Inc." isn't a license, by the way) you label it with.
I know it's not a license but that seemed like a logical place to put the trademark notice. Unless you, in your endless genius, have a better place to put it. Which I'm sure you have, after all you will analyze my every word looking for something that you can prove me wrong on.
You know you can't really release a trademarked logo under GPL, right?
Yup
While for the most part I agree with your comment, some people run Linux on a Mac and they like the cross branding for say a Linux based MacBook.
Porting Mac themes to Linux is understandable, but why should anybody be interested in using the Apple logo in their menu? I simply don't get it. It's Linux you're using right?
My thoughts exactly but guppetto gave a good reason in his comment below.
