Thanks, this is a good start. In the first (glossy) version, I'd suggest changing the way the highlight hits the beveled edges. It doesn't look realistic and ends up making the icon distracting. Also, in the Faenza set in general the light doesn't come from the upper-right, but from the centre-top. In the second (flat) icon the corner radius on the inside border doesn't seem to be the same as on the outside border. I'd also add some shading to the bevel. But thanks for getting started on this!
