Description: This is a new set of icons for the nm-applet. It changes the icons during the connecting process of wifi connections, and the wifi-signal icons.
Installation: As root, copy all files from the archive into /usr/shared/icons/hicolor/22x22/apps, and confirm overwrite. Reboot for the changes to take effect.
Easier way: All distro have a folder called .icons on home folder. Just create a new folder inside .icon and copy all icons to this folder. Use your DE icon manager to change to yours!
I've tried replacing the icons and restarting the applet, rebooting; alas to no effect. Do I need to build a pkg with these icons or is there a place where the applet caches the icons?
Suggestions are very appreciated since the dpkg-foo doesn't work on any non-debian systems.
Kind regards,
biengo

I was wondering what distro of linux you guys/girls are using as to make this mod work. I have mandriva, and following the instructions didn't work.
I'm using Ubuntu I'm sorry, I have no idea where the nm-applet icons are located under Mandriva.
Or maybe you are using an icon theme which already changes nm icons. In that case you should replace the corresponding icons in your current theme.
i like these icons, i´m really fed up withe the default ones.
Thanks ;)
