TAsteroids is a clone of the classic arcade game asteroids. It has an integrated physics engine and your ship won't explode instantly if you hit an asteroid. That makes collisions more fun!
The graphics engine is basically a fork of my game Battleship.
Keys:
Player 1: Arrow Keys, DEL, ENTER
Player 2: WAD, F, G
Toggle fullscreen: F11

Requires Qt 4.5 or greater, SDL and SDL_mixer.
To build on ubuntu, you may need
sudo apt-get install libsdl-mixer1.2-dev
The project uses the following qt libraries: opengl, script, svg and concurrent.

Some game specific code is written in QtScript. If you don't like the default keys you need to edit the control.js script.

- there's a new sourcecode for systems that don't support OpenGl

- added menu
- single player and 2 player mode
- restart function (F4)
- players can activate "wormhole" (Keys: Enter and F) and "shield" (Keys: G and Del)
- resized projectiles and asteroids because the small ones were hard to hit

known bugs:
- there might be just a white rectangle instead of the wireframe asteroid model in the menu but the game is still playable though, this is just a beauty issue

Sounds are already there but I'm still looking for a cross-platform way to play sounds. Yes there's QSound but it's NAS backend doesn't seem to be working on any linux system, including my Ubuntu 8.04.

Graphics and motion are excellent, as is the missile fire. Collision with the asteroids - the ship should explode and re-materialise at start. Sound would be good :) Other than that an excellent start, very playable.
